Len Brown is an award winning architect who has been involved in the Architectural Profession since obtaining a Degree in Architecture in 1986 from Montana State University. He has worked in varying capacities with firms in Golden BC, Edmonton AB, Ottawa ON and Chicago IL. He has been a Registered Architect in Canada since 1990 and served for several years on Alberta’s Practice Review Board which regulates professional oversight of Alberta Architects

In 2004, he opened his current practice in Golden, British Columbia, specializing in a tourism and residential scope with an emphasis on sustainable design. Prior to the establishment of his Golden office, he practiced for 14 years as a founding partner of
ACI Architecture Inc., a medium sized firm of Architects based in Edmonton. In his role as Managing Partner, he was involved in all aspects of the Firm’s projects, together with administration and financial control responsibilities. LBA is able to undertake work on a wide variety of Project types and sizes, by utilizing the technical resources of Firm's such as ACI among others, due to their mutual history of collaboration

Many of Len’s projects have been of a complex nature and as a result he worked closely with various government and institutional agencies in developing interpretations of applicable Legislation and guidelines. His experience includes work with a full range of project types and sizes including residential, tourism, commercial, educational, healthcare, laboratories, other hitech facilities and with special interest group clients such as non-profit organizations and native governments

He has been involved in all facets of the construction process from the initial program identification through hands-on construction. In all of his projects his involvement continues from the early preplanning stages, through to site inspections and project administration
